Life is short no matter how long you live, if you’re healthy. The real question is living life to the full: full of love, full of life, full of energy and most importantly, being able to enjoy it. If you’re sick, you can quickly become sick and tired and life can seem too long. For me, it’s not a question of how long you live. It’s your quality of life that counts.
I was always aware of the importance of health because my parents really tried the best they could to live a healthy lifestyle which included healthy cooking. They stopped smoking, used stainless steel pots, served lots of salad and steamed vegetables, and most importantly, gave us lots of love and understanding. We grew up healthy and happy.
I seriously started to research about natural health when I realized that I wasn’t getting younger and I started noticing that I was more tired, had less energy, and wasn’t thinking as clearly as I had in the past.
What really woke me up was when I read about how doctors diagnose MS and when I discovered that I had 4 or 5 out of 13 common associated symptoms for autoimmune diseases which included MS. The more I studied about this situation, the more I was convinced that there must be a better way.
Somehow I just knew that health, real health was possible but as I looked around at my friends who were 10 to 15 years older than me, I realized that I didn’t like what was coming. I had to make some changes in my life. But how? What changes were needed? Where could I find the information that I needed to be able to make informed decisions.
And that, my friends, became my passion and mission: To find reliable natural health information and put it in a form that is easy for others to understand. I’ve spent hundreds of hours studying books and reading scientific papers, trying to get a handle on different aspects of natural health, and being a teacher at heart, I enjoy putting it into a simple, understandable format for others. That’s what I’ve done all my life.
And that’s what I’m sharing here, my natural health journey.
Here’s to your health, happiness, and vitality. Enjoy!
